Emilija is currently and temporarily based in Japan, while her work moves between Lithuania and Amsterdam.

Her practice spans fashion design, styling, and creative direction. Having lived across several countries throughout the past decade, she is interested in the ways place shapes identity, and how we carry pieces of home with us wherever we go.

Much of her work is informed by an ongoing fascination with womanhood, cultural heritage, and personal history. She often finds herself returning to questions of belonging, memory, and tradition, looking at how they quietly reveal themselves through clothing, rituals, and the stories we inherit. Rather than seeking fixed answers, her work reflects a desire to better understand the spaces between cultures, generations, and versions of ourselves.
